Electro Chlorinators

Electrochlorination is a simple and proven technology to convert ordinary salt water [or brine or seawater] into Sodium Hypochlorite by means of Electrolysis. It is produced and applied on -site. The device which uses this technology is named as ElectroChlorinator or Onsite Hypo Generator.

Sodium Hypochlorite is universally accepted for combating slime, algae and other Bio-organisms in Water. The most important aspect of Sodium Hypochlorite usage is its economy effectiveness in killing bio organisms thereby disinfecting water. Electro Chlorinators find application where Chlorine is not readily available or where operation with chlorine is not acceptable. ElectroChlorinators therefore, find application in Drinking Water Treatment, Cooling Water Treatment, Waste Water Treatment, Bleaching, Pharmaceutical formulations and other industrial applications.

The Industries that benefit includes Chemicals & Fertilizers, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Power Stations, Steel Plants, Cement Plants, Pharmaceutical Industries, PesticideIndustries, Food Industries, Dairy Industries, Textiles, Paper and  Pulp Industries, Sugar Plants, Municipalities, Corporations, Townships, Water Boards, Theme Parks, Hotels, Apartment Complexes, Aqua culture Units, Bottling Plants, Swimming Pools, Hospitals etc.

Vacuum Feed Type Gas Chlorinators

Chlorine is universally accepted for combating slime and algae better than any other chemical. The most important aspect of chlorine usage is its economy and effectiveness in killing bio-organisms. Other uses of chlorine include control of H2S and Odor, fly control, sludge bulking and foaming control, ammonia oxidation, BOD reduction, disinfection, bleaching etc.

Chlorinator is a device to provide a continuous and constant supply of metered chlorine in the safest possible manner. Chlorinators find application in Drinking water treatment, Coolng Water Treatment, Waste Water Treatment, Bleaching, Pharmaceutical formulations and other industrial applications

Principle of Operation

Motive Water (water at high pressure) passes through the injector to produce vacuum. This vacuum extends upto Automatic Vacuum Regulator (AVR). The chlorine gas supplied (from Tonnes / Cylinders or Chlorine Evaporators) under pressure is reduced to a lower pressure by Pressure Reducing Value [PRV] and to a constant vacuum at the AVR. The gas under vacum passes through a Gas or Rotameter and Flow Control Valve [FCV].

Automatic Vacuum Regulator

Normally closed and opens only when there is vacuum, thus regulating the flow of chlorine gas in a controlled manner.Exclusive design ensures minimal risk of handling chlorine gas under pressure.
